TAR UMT University in Malaysia is a private institution, having been established in 1969. Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology, also known as TAR UMT. The University’s name is inspired by the First Prime Minister of Malaysia, Tunku Abdul Rahman. First, this university was originally a college whose name is TAR College. In 2013, this college was officially announced as Tunku Abdul Rahman University College (TAR UC). Then, in 2022, this university college was named TAR UMT.
TAR UMT has a total of 6 Branches in Malaysia. The main campus is located in Kuala Lumpur. The rest of the campuses are in Penang, Perak, Johor, Pahang, and Sabah. More than 32,000 students are in this university. They offer many programs like Foundation, Diploma, Undergraduate, and Postgraduate. Also, they provide a variety of courses in Business & Management, IT, and Engineering subjects.
