The High Commission of Thailand in Bangladesh e-visa launched for students and tourists on 2 January 2025. The High Commission of Thailand allows applicants to apply for an e-visa to enter Thailand. It is a very good facility for students and tourists to go to Thailand Single entry visas and multiple-entry visas. The Immigration Department of Thailand takes 10 days for the e-visa application to be processed.

How To Apply for Thailand E-visa For Bangladeshi
Thailand’s application process is now easier! Applying for a visa at home through the e-visa system is possible. The entire process is explained below:
Step 1: Registration and Application
- Visit the website https://www.thaievisa.go.th/
- Now create an account on the website
After creating the new account, you will receive an email to confirm registration. Click the link to view the dashboard interface below the picture.
In one account you can apply a maximum of 10 applications can be submitted.
Click Apply for a new visa. After clicking this you will visit the application procedure dashboard.
There are a total of 4 steps you need to fill up.
- Check your Eligibility: in this process, you need to fill up the data according to your country. Then you need to select the purpose of your visit to Thailand.

In the second section, applicant information, you have to fill out your information according to your passport. Also, upload the Passport info page and photo (the file will be in JPG format and should be below 3 Mb).
2. Applicant Information
After filling in your personal information below, you will find employment details in the applicant information section. In this area, if you are a job holder, businessman, or student, you select the occupation and then write your company name. If you are a student, write your institute name. After that, select your annual income. Usually, you can choose under 20,000 US$. The process of that is given in the picture below.
Now in the third section Travel information, you will fill up your information according to your Air Ticket and Hotel booking data. For example in the air ticket booking, you will book the return ticket date, address, flight number, and type of flight you will go. On the other hand in hotel booking you will book the hotel where you will stay. So you will have to input your information your hotel name, street address, city, district, postcode, subdistrict, phone number
Then in the last section supporting documents, you will attach your documents such as the Passport info page, and a photo with a white background (the last 6 months taken a photo), you have to submit your all documents in one PDF like (the invitation letter, Job/business owner/students documents of the company/institute). After that, you will attach your travel documents (Air Ticket & Hotel Booking). Lastly, Proof of your accommodation in Thailand, e.g. Accommodation bookings, and invitation letters from family/friends in Thailand.
- Upload information and documents: Upload required documents like bank statements or proof of current location.
After all the information is uploaded, you will submit and confirm the application.
Step 2: Payment Procedure
- Payment Info Summary (PIS) Sheet:
– Get it after applying. The sheet will contain a QR code and reference number.
- Make payment:
Visit the website of [Commercial Bank of Ceylon](https://www.combank.net.bd/thaievisa).
– Upload the PIS sheet to the payment platform after submitting the visa fee.
– E-receipt will be emailed once payment is confirmed.
Step 3: Visa Approval
- Processing time:
The application process will take at least 10 working days.
– Additional documents will required.
- E-Visa Acceptance:
– Receive approved visa via email.
– Print the e-Visa and show it to Thai Immigration.
How to Apply Thai e-visa
Overview of Procedure:
- Fill out the form online
- Upload documents
- Receive the “Payment Info Summary” sheet that contains the application reference number and QR code.
- Pay the visa fee to the Embassy’s bank account through the website of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon
- Make payment and upload the “Payment Info Summary” sheet in the payment platform
- Received the approved visa by e-mail
- Print the e-visa for presenting to the Thai immigration
Step 1 Registration and Application:
- Go to the website https://www.thaievisa.go.th/
- If you want to see an English user manual that could help you understand the procedure of an e-visa and the functions of the website, it is available in the menu “User Manual”
- Create an Account for application. One account can apply for up to 10 applicants such as family members or friends traveling together.
- Use the account to access the e-visa application menu. Prepare to upload the passport biodata page and photo. Be sure that the files are JPG format and less than 3 MB. They should be clear and without glare.
- Once the passport biodata page and photo are uploaded, the personal information from the passport page will automatically appear in the online form. However, it is strongly recommended to check thoroughly because misspelling or mismatch of information could occur the if the uploaded files are blurred, glaring and partially dark.
- Fill in the remaining personal information and upload the required documents.
- Select the desired type of visa. The available options and visa fees are the following:

- Select the Embassy where you wish to apply. Bangladeshi citizens can apply through the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka unless they have legal residence in other countries.
- Proof of current location will be requested. Bangladeshis should upload a Bank Statement that contains at least 60,000 with regular Transaction in the last 6 months. Foreigners with residence in Bangladesh can provide a valid Bangladeshi visa. Diplomats and staff of UN agencies can upload a note verbale certifying their assignment in Bangladesh and the purpose of the visit.
- In that case that more than one applicant are applying together using the same account, they should provide each own’s personal information and contact details since the Embassy will contact them individually for verification.
Step 2 Payment:
- When all Information and documents are filled and uploaded, select the “Payment at the Embassy” menu.
- The system will generate a “Payment Info Summary” page will contains the name of applicants, reference number, QR Code, payment method and last possible date for making payment, which is within 14 days including weakened. The applicant will also receive the PIS sheet by e-mail.
- Visit the website of the Commercial Bank of Ceylon https://www.combank.net.bd/thaievisa to transfer payment. The payment time is 9:00-12:00 hours on working days of the Embassy. In the initial phase, the system will able to receive visa fee of approximately 400 applications per day and will stop accepting payment once the quota is full. The number is expected to increase in the next phase. If payment is not made within 14 days, the application will be deleted from the system.
- Upload the PIS sheet to the payment platform.
- When the payment is verified and confirmed, an e-receipt will be sent by e-mail.
Step 3 Approval:
- Processing time of e-visa will take at least 10 working days. Day 1 is the day after the receipt is issued, not the day of application or payment. Weekend and Embassy holidays are not counted.
- In certain circumstances, the Embassy will send an e-mail to request additional documents.
- The applicant will receive an e-visa by e-mail. Please print the visa for presenting to the immigration at the port of entry.
