TIIS Ranking: As a quite new institution, TIIS is not yet ranked in the major university ranking systems. Nevertheless, it is registered with the Tertiary Education Quality and Standards Agency (TEQSA) and has a CRICOS registration, which allows it to enroll international students. TIIS provides professionally oriented postgraduate education programs and intends to become a leading provider in Sydney’s non-university higher education sector.

General Entry Requirements Postgraduate Programs:
- Completion of an undergraduate degree from a recognized Australian institution (or equivalent overseas institution); or
- Completion of a relevant graduate certificate or diploma from a recognized Australian institution (or equivalent overseas institution).
The entry requirements for admission to Graduate Certificate programs of TIIS are:
- Completion of an undergraduate degree from a recognized Australian institution (or equivalent overseas institution); or
- TAFE (or equivalent institution) Diploma or Advanced Diploma in a related field and three years of relevant work experience in the past five years.
The entry requirements for Graduate Diploma programs of TIIS are:
- Completion of an undergraduate degree from a recognized Australian institution (or equivalent), OR
- Completion of a Graduate Certificate in a finance-related field from a recognized Australian institution (or equivalent), OR
- Completion of an Advanced Diploma or Diploma in a finance-related field plus a minimum of 3 years of industry experience in a financial services field.
General Entry Requirements Undergraduate Programs
The entry requirements for admission to Undergraduate programs of TIIS are:
- Completion of the NSW Higher School Certificate (or equivalent) achieving an ATAR of at least 50 (or equivalent) for BBus and at least 60 (or equivalent) for BIT within the past two years; or
- Completion of an AQF 5 Diploma level program from TAFE (or equivalent) or any Australian Registered Training Organisation (or equivalent overseas organization); or
- Completion of at least one semester of full-time study (or part-time equivalent) at a registered Australian higher education provider at AQF Level 5 Diploma or higher; or
- Completion of a bridging or enabling course from a qualified Australian provider (or equivalent overseas provider) and achieved at least 50% of the maximum mark attainable.
Additional Entry Requirements
In addition to the general admission requirements stipulated above, courses may specify additional requirements that applicants must meet, to demonstrate their capacity for success in the course.
These may include, but are not limited to:
- higher entry qualification benchmark scores
- specific supporting studies within their undergraduate program;
- attendance at interviews;
- relevant work experience;
- presentation of folios; and/or
- submission of supplementary information forms.
ADMISSION CRITERIA – Special entry Portfolio indicative criteria
Applicants who do not meet entry requirements may gain entry to a course by provision of a portfolio and interview with the Program Co-ordinator and Dean. The material submitted in the Portfolio should address the following criteria:
