Requirements
- For degree programs, a diploma/STAM/STPM with a CGPA of 3.0 or above is required.

UCYP University Admission
The visa process for international students at the University College of Yayasan Pahang (UCYP) in Malaysia involves securing a Student Pass through Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS). UCYP assists with this process, which generally takes around 6 weeks after fee payment, and includes pre-arrival, arrival, and post-arrival steps.
Pre-Arrival Process
- Application & Offer Letter: Once you meet the entry requirements, UCYP will issue an Offer Letter.
- EMGS Application: The visa application is submitted online through EMGS. Applicants can do this individually or through the university.
- Visa Approval Letter (eVAL): After submitting documents and paying the EMGS processing fee, the eVAL process takes approximately 6 weeks.
- Single Entry Visa (SEV): If necessary, students must apply for a Single Entry Visa (SEV) at the Malaysian Embassy in their home country before travelling.
- Arrival Notification: Inform UCYP at least one week before arrival to arrange airport pickup.
Arrival and Airport Clearance
- Immigration Clearance: Upon arrival, you will need assistance from the UCYP International Office staff for immigration clearance.
- Medical Screening: All students must undergo a medical health screening at an EMGS-approved clinic within 7 days of arrival.
- Failed Medicals: Students who fail this post-arrival medical exam are required to return to their home country immediately.
Post-Arrival (Student Pass)
- Passport Submission: Submit your passport to the UCYP International Office for the student pass application to the state immigration office.
- Registration: Register at the UCYP International Office on the main campus in Tanjung Lumpur, Pahang.
- Orientation: Attend the compulsory orientation program for new international students.
