Library Facilities
As the heart of an academic institution, CSMU recognizes that need and provides the central library with an academic atmosphere. A fully automated library for up to 250 users is located in a separate building with a large reading area and an air-conditioned presence area.
Placement Facilities
An integral part of the career development program is placement conducted by the University’s Training and Placement Unit (TPC), which operates a Corporate Resource Center (CRC) to provide training, counselling, guest lectures and placement trips to students. The function of the CRC is actively intertwined with academics to help students build their holistic competence as confident, approachable people ready to take on any challenge in the world, not just for work.
The diverse nature of the placement process includes self-development, gap identification, mock interviews, pre-placement counselling, resume preparation, live projects and internships. Students undergo a well-planned and rigorous curriculum, hands-on practice, and internships at reputable research institutes and companies during their academic careers.
The academic curriculum is so structured that students must complete a 6-8 week mandatory summer internship at a renowned research institute/industrial organization. Internships help students apply theoretical concepts learned in the classroom to a natural management environment. Students are also offered short-term live project opportunities with leading companies.
Gym Facilities
The gymnasium at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj University accommodates 150 to 200 students at any time. There are centrally air-conditioned gyms for men and women to provide equal space and privacy. The gym also has the latest equipment for powerlifting, strength training, exceptional training and weight machines. Gymnasium activities help students stay fit and take their self-confidence to a higher level.
Cafeteria
The on-campus cafeteria offers meals and snacks to suit a variety of tastes. Food quality is strictly monitored to ensure that teachers and students are not endangered.
Seminar Halls
The well-equipped, technically equipped seminar rooms allow students to give creative and effective presentations. The Seminar Hall is often used for group discussions and seminars.
Transport Facilities
The institution has its own fleet of cars, vans, and buses that it utilizes to transport personnel and students from all around the city. Additionally, there is a city bus facility. During breaks, the university provides students with transportation to the bus or train station.
Auditorium Facilities
