Cyprus West University wants to be a prestigious and well-respected part of Northern Cyprus’s dynamic higher education system. On December 8, 2015, the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Ministry of National Education authorized its founding as “Yüksek Bilim Üniversitesi” (High Science University) and gave initial approval for six undergraduate programs spread over three faculties. The following programs and faculties were approved during the establishment phase.

Admission Requirements for Undergraduate:

Standard Entry Requirements for Undergraduate Programs:

• Higher Secondary School Certificate or Diploma
• At least two A Levels
• IB Diploma
• 5 IGCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
• Candidates must be aged between 17 and 25. Please check the minimum requirements based on your country.

English Requirement:

• APTIS: must achieve an overall CEFR score of at least B2 equivalent with at least B2
  equivalent in each subcategory.
• Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English.
• (IELTS) International English Language Testing System (Academic or General Test): 5.5
• Pearson Test of English, Academic: 54 overall, with 54 in Reading and Writing elements.
• TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) : (TOEFL) IBT 65, (TOEFL) PBT: 513,
  (TOEFL) CBT: 183 (we do not accept Special Home Edition test).
• GCE/IGCSE: Minimum Grade C
• TOMER: B2 (For Turkish programs)

Admission Requirements for Graduate:

Bachelor’s Degree Diploma
Bachelor’s Degree transcripts for each completed academic semester/year.
Copy of International passport/birth certificate.
Curriculum vitae (CV).
Two reference letters.
Statement of Purpose in English (A letter that states the Applicant’s Purpose of choosing a Master’s Program (MBA)).
