Master programs
All of the below-mentioned Master programs (except the European and International Business Law – LL.M. program) have a Pre-Master Semester or Year program. This bridging program is dedicated to those students who do not have the required credits and courses from their former studies, therefore, they are unable to enroll in the intended Master’s program. The tuition fees of the Pre-Master program are as same as for the relevant Bachelor program, the program itself starts in both semesters (in September and in February too).

Admission Procedure for Master Programs: To be eligible:
Applicants must possess a bachelor
The minimum CGPA requirements are:
2.5/4.0 for medical programs
2.7/4.0 for non-medical programs
Additional Document Requirements for Master Programs Applicants:
• A copy of the bachelor
• Transcript of bachelor
Important Note: The university reserves the right to accept or reject applications after evaluation. Upon acceptance, an interview for the applicant will be conducted by the university.
Documents Required:
Completed application form.
Passport copy of the applicant.
A recent photograph of the applicant.
High school leaving certificate and transcripts (official English language translation is
required).
Short Curriculum Vitae (CV).
English proficiency certificate (Not mandatory, but if available, it should be submitted).
Medical certificate indicating the general health status of the applicant.
For a master’s degree, the entrance exam is not required. For bachelor applicants, they will have an entrance exam. Moreover, there are certain Health Sciences Programs that are available in the intake. For that, there is no entrance exam conducted For the entrance interview for February Intake
University of Debrecen Refund policy
In the case of an overpayment made by the student, the student may demand a refund according to the regulations stipulated in the Rules and Regulations (Appendix V – Special Rules and Regulations for English Program Students)
Non-refundable fees:
– Application fee
– Entrance examination fee – exception: in case the Applicant informs the admission office about cancellation of the exam registration the latest one week before the exam
– seat reservation fee – exception: the seat reservation fee may be refunded in case the visa (residence permit) was rejected, and the student submits the necessary documents to prove this fact
– tuition fee paid by freshman visa-bound students – exception: the pre-paid tuition fee may be refunded in case the visa (residence permit) was rejected or canceled, and the student submits the necessary documents to prove this fact. Note that the seat reservation fee, which forms part of the tuition fee is refundable only in case the visa (residence permit) is rejected, and is non-refundable in case the visa application (residence permit) is canceled.
