Multimedia University (MMU) Entry Requirements

MMU Requirements for Undergraduate Students

(1) A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent in the Computing field from MMU or institutions recognised by the Senate.
(2) A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 2.50 and not meeting a CGPA of 2.75 or equivalent in a related field from MMU or institutions recognized by the Senate; can be accepted subject to rigorous internal assessment.
(3) A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent not meeting a CGPA of 2.50 in a related field from MMU or institutions recognised by the Senate can be accepted.

MMU Requirements For Postgraduate Students

(1) A Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field from MMU or institutions recognized by the Senate; or
(2) A Master’s degree or equivalent in a non-related field from MMU or institutions recognized by the Senate; and evidence of at least two (2) years of relevant working or research experience.
(3) Other academic qualifications equivalent to (1) or (2) that the Senate accepts.
(4) A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum CGPA of 3.67 or equivalent in a related field from MMU.

Multimedia University IELTS  Requirement

English Language Requirement For Foundation Students

• A minimum score of 4.0 for IELTS or its equivalent

English Language Requirement For Diploma Students

A minimum score of 5.0 for IELTS or its equivalent.

However, a few faculties accept 4.5 for IELTS or its equivalent.

English Language Requirement For Bachelor Student
An applicant is required to possess a sufficient level of English language proficiency by
obtaining one of the following:
(1) a minimum IELTS overall band score of 5.5/6.0; or
(2) a minimum overall TOEFL iBT score of 60; or
(3) a minimum MUET overall band score of 4; or
(4) a minimum Pearson Test of English score of 59; or
(5) a minimum Cambridge Qualifications and Test score of 169.
In addition to the above, any other qualification

Once payment has been verified, repeat steps a and b then click the ‘Proceed with Acceptance’ button and complete the E-Acceptance online. e. Click on ‘Apply for Student Pass’ to upload the required documents. International students can only enroll for classes and enter Malaysia after they have obtained the EMGS Approval Letter/Visa Approval Letter (VAL) and apply for an Entry Visa (if required).
